Sustainability
Product. People. Nature.
We strive to make a local and discernible impact on the wellbeing of the people that we reach.
The Halo Group Sustainability strategy is designed to align with the interests of our stakeholders: our people, our customers and our communities. We prioritise the sustainability of our product, elevating our people and a shared purpose, to foster long-term, sustainable growth so we can drive positive change in our industry, ultimately benefiting nature.
At its core, it is to ensure that we all have a sustainable future. In 2022 we defined our three pillars:
Product. Ensure our products utilise sustainably sourced materials, with a transparent supply chain, whilst complying with relevant product requirements.
People. Actively engage and contribute towards the communities in the locations where we operate, whilst prioritizing our employees’ wellbeing, with a focus on attracting talent and developing our people.
Nature. Monitor the energy usage, carbon emissions, water consumption and waste from our activities in order to actively manage our environmental impact, to ensure we are doing our part to respect nature.
Product. People. Nature. are the cornerstones of our business.
We have identified key strategic targets, within each of those three pillars, both short and long term, to work towards.
We report our progress annually against these targets to ensure we stay accountable for our actions and maintain trust with our stakeholders. We made the decision to report on ourselves and our primary supply partner so we could understand the process and maximise the transparency of our impact. Our long term collaboration with our key supply partners globally is crucial to the sustainable growth of our Halo Group. We have defined our key supply partners as our top seven tier 1 finished goods supply partners. We have ambition to support our key supply partners and our tier 2 materials supply partners from Mexico and Brazil manufacturing facilities to build their ESG system, and track and share their ESG performance. By recording and reporting this data, we should cover more than 90% of our finished products.
