Halo settles with two French retailers in respect of the infringement of them by Halo’s Intellectual Property Rights

12 March, 2015

TOOSHOPPING and LC-GALLERY have recently settled with the Halo Group (including Halo Creative & Design Limited, Halo Furnishings Limited, Halo International Holdings Limited, Halo Trademarks Limited, together HALO) in respect of the infringement of Halo’s intellectual property rights. These two French retailers have confirmed that they will no longer be importing certain products which give rise to customer confusion or which are substantially similar in design to the concerned Halo’s products. TOOSHOPPING and LC-GALLERY has further agreed that these products will no longer be available to customers, shall remain off their website and shall not be included in further advertising effective immediately.

Both Halo, Timothy Oulton and other brands of the Halo group take pride in their dedicated design teams, and have a strong history of innovative design.

These two matters were handled by our French Counsel, Emmanuelle Hoffman and Olivia Granit, from the Law Firm: Cabinet Hoffman based in Paris: www.cabinet-hoffman.com. We are grateful to Cabinet Hoffman for their continued support on intellectual property infringement matters.
